So after getting a hair cut last year and going wild (from very long to very short), I was determined to grow my hair as fast as I could so that I could get my long locks back. When i mean from very long to very short, I mean from having hair touching my hips to hair touching my chest! Yes... Major difference. I really don't know why I decided to cut it as short as I did, I guess I wanted a change... Well at least I got a good healthy chop!! I remember my hairdresser saying 'Debbie are you sure you want to go shorter?' 

Anyways, to cut the story short, I shot myself in the foot and I was longing for my long hair again. I especially noticed the difference when I had my hair tied up in a pony tail. It was so short I felt I couldn't even feel it.

It was then that I remembered a time I was walking into Boots and saw a shelf with a few 'on offer' products. One of them being a shampoo and conditioner called F.A.S.T!!! I went straight onto Google and read as much as I could on the products. All positive of course. But did it work?

F.A.S.T (Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy) is a blend of natural herbs and essential amino acids which provides the basis for quick healthy hair growth. The shampoo and conditioner works in combination to grow your hair as fast as possible... Up to 99%!!! It stimulates the hair growth and addresses all sorts of problems like a bad haircut, slow growing hair, and even weak dry hair that is prone to breakage. 

So there I was in Boots, the next day to purchase these products. It retails at £24.99 and you get the shampoo and conditioner. You can't buy these products separately. 

So after purchasing F.A.S.T I was excited to start using it. I know that the packaging isn't exactly the most glamorous on the bathroom shelf but who cares when what's important is what is inside. 

The smell is lovely although from what I have read, there are some people who don't like it. I made sure the shampoo penetrated my scalp for a good few minutes, doing exactly the same with the conditioner. It states that there are better results when you rinse your hair with hot water, I'm quite lucky in that fact as I love a really hot shower. Those that like luke warm water, I wouldn't know if the results would be the same.

So after washing my hair and drying it, the feeling is amazing and the hair feels sooooooo soft! Of course you're not going to see results after the first wash! But you do see results on the condition of the hair! Super silky, soft and smelling great! 

So does it work?

Yes!!!! Yes!!!! Yes!!!! It really does!!! My boyfriend was amazed at the results! It even gives you volume!!!! Something that I love in hair! I love big bouncy hair. Now I don't remember how many of these I went through. It does say you should wash your hair everyday with F.A.S.T to achieve better results, but I only used it every 3 to 4 days and the results were still amazing!

Now, I cut my hair in April 2013 and in August 2013 just 4 months after, this was the result!

The results after 4 months was just out of this world!!! I had never seen anything like it!!! Definitinately worth every penny!!!!!! 

So if you've had a bad haircut or your hair just grows really slow, this is definitely the product to use! I swear by it!!! Need I say anymore? Let me know your thoughts and experiences!

My NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm has arrived!!!!!

Knowing I was on my way to the post office to pick up my delivery from Escentual, made my smile even bigger than it usually is.

I was so excited to try the NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm, and to see what the whole fuss was about and don't I know it now!!! Yes beautiful peeps, this lip balm is amazing and definitely worth getting.

First of all, the pot... It's so darn cute! I love the frosted glass! It looks smart in your bag or even on your bedside table. The pot isn't at all heavy and fits nicely almost anywhere.

The smell.... OMG!!! It's to die for! As soon as I open it to put some on my lips, I have to smell it first! It has a citrus, organgy, honey smell to it! AMAZING!!! You'll want to be smelling it all day! Trust me! Actually... You'll want to eat it like me!

The consistency... Luxurious & divine! It's so buttery and moussey, like whipped cream, you'll just want to dip your fingers constantly in it. I'm serious!!!

The feel on the lips... AMAZING!!!! My lips are really dry, and this just kissed them all better. It leaves a matt effect on the lips which is great. Perfect for those who love their lipsticks and glosses! I felt a difference as soon as I coated my lips. And the nice thing is that you don't need a lot! 

I cannot wait to see the results in a few days time! Will definitely be reporting back! I'm sure it will be positive!

Phyto Lip Shine

I recently popped into Coccon Beauty at Heathrow's Terminal 1 for a quick browse  to see what was new on the shelves and because I am a massive lover of nude lipsticks, I always like to be on top of what's out.

I've always been quite intrigued and curious about the brand Sisley but their prices are not exactly purse friendly although I must admit the products are to die for from what I have read. 

I remember reading an article on nude lipsticks and remember a Sisley lipstick being mentioned but couldn't remember which one it was. The lady at the counter 'Maddy' who was amazing told me exactly which one I was on about and how this lipstick had sold out worldwide!!! She knows her stuff!!! "Everyone is ranting on about how amazing this lipstick is" 

When she showed me the tester it just seemed like any other ordinary lip balm in a lipstick form. The colour I must admit is adorable. A baby matt pink... When she showed me a swatch on the skin, the glow and sheen was to die for, and then the packaging just blew me away!!!!

Thankfully I grabbed the last one. The Phyto Lip Shine is not just any ordinary lipstick. It is a glossy ultra-luminous lip treatment and boy does it do the job! They first time I used it on my lips, literally after a few minutes my lips felt amazing, plumped and full of life! It leaves such a wonderful sheen on the lips to the point I cannot explain. It's extremely light and so nourishing and lasts!

How beautiful is this packaging? It comes in a little velvet pocket that I absoulutly love. Getting this little baby out of your make up bag is just out of this world!!!

Nail Polish by H&M

So when it comes to nail polish, I'm always concerned about three things...

1. The drying time

2. The application

3. The lasting time before it starts to chip

I hate having to wait around for my nail polish to dry! I'm a paint and go girl! And because of my job, I always have to have my nails perfectly groomed and for that I rely on my favourite nail polish of all time! Nail Polish by H&M!!!

It does everything in one bottle... Perfect colour (nude), perfect application whether it's 1 coat or 2... Even 3!!!! And perfect drying time!!!

I cannot stress how amazing this nail polish is and how beautiful the colour is! If you like your nude colours then this is definitely the one to have in your collection. I can always rely on this little bottle!!! The easy application is fenomenal. The brush is perfect! Not too thick and not too thin! 

And let me tell you how long it lasts... It lasts and lasts!!! You'll find that chipping will come after a week or so... My nail polish will last me about 9-10 days! And I am constantly using my hands in my job and then the house chores too!!! 

Now the worst thing is, it's hardly ever in stock, so whenever I'm popping into H&M, I end up buying the whole rack of them!!!

BOTANICS Ionic Clay Mask

So I recently searched the web for the top 10 clay masks, and this one amazingly appeared! So I decided to give it a go.

Enriched with clarifying willowbark, this mask is suitable for all skin types but particularly good for oily skin to combination skin. This face mask actively removes impurities and deeply cleanses.

I was intrigued to find out what the feel of it on my skin was like but mostly how my skin felt after. 

You must shake it before applying so that it mixes well together. It's really runny and needs to be applied straight away on the face. I feel because it's so runny, it doesn't apply thick, but you can always build it up.

When the clay mask is drying, you can really feel the skin tightening. It really feels like the clay is drawing out all the impurities. Also another thing is that when the mask is drying, you can see the oil from the pores come above the skins surface. It really is amazing!

The only bad thing is that after a while (few days of use), it starts to smell... And really girls, do we really want this when relaxing with our clay mask on? I think not!!

Apart from that I have to say it's an amazing product!!! It gets rid of any redness and really does draw out all the yukky stuff... 

The hydrating properties of this mask leave skin feeling clearer, softer, smoother and less oily without over drying the skin.

And another great thing I must stress about is that it is travel size 100ml. So it's perfect as a holiday essential!
